“Sonoma County is no stranger to the world’s most celebratory beverage. As one of the most diverse climactic and geologic wine regions in California, Sonoma can produce delicate rosés alongside serious Chardonnay-based Blanc de Blancs bottlings and more. In Sonoma, there’s a sparkler for every mood, food and occasion!”

What makes a Sonoma County wine classic? With more than 60 wine varietals grown here over a large and wildly different growing area, “classic” has a lot of competition. This session will focus on tried, true and delicious offerings from the region: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon – each specially paired with a delightful seasonal dish prepared by Kendall-Jackson’s culinary team!
“Because of its diverse topography and wide diurnal range, there are few regions that do so well with so many varieties as Sonoma County. From herbal, crisp Sauvignon Blanc to perfumed, silky Pinot Noir, rich Chardonnay and bold Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma is the go-to choice for a beautifully diverse array of California wines.”
3:00 – 3:30pm | $30

Sonoma County winemakers constantly ask themselves ‘what to blend and why?’ in pursuit of masterpieces. This talk will feature the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ of both white and red wine blends.
“Blends comprise some of the best wines from around the world, and Sonoma County is home to a number of standouts. Between the classic Bordeaux Meritage bottlings and the new movement of “kitchen sink” creative blends that are capturing people’s imaginations, winemaker layering can produce something that’s greater than the sum of its parts—truly original wines!”
The Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate Garden is set on approximately four scenic acres with seven distinct garden spaces. Guided by one of their culinary educators, you will stroll through the gardens, learning and tasting the fruit, vegetables and herbs which inspire their farm-to-table program. Indulge your senses of sight, smell and taste as you enjoy a glass of wine from the estate.
